Opa & Ollie’s Magnificent Baseball Adventure
In 2018, I began thinking seriously about my retirement at the end of 2019. One friend advised: “Don’t make any decisions until 6 months after you retire.”
That made sense for most things. But one thing I was clear on: I wanted to start an adventure with my grandson, Ollie. I asked him whether he would be up for starting a multi-year journey to visit all 30 Major League Baseball parks.
He was 10 and said he was up for it, so in the summer of 2019, we visited the first three ballparks. In 2020, our plans were wiped out by COVID-19, but we are now continuing our magnificent adventure. Below is a gallery of images from each city and ballpark we have visited.
